In response to the interruptions occasioned by the Covid-19 pandemic to the education programme at schools, the Abu Parker Memorial Spring School Project has been initiated in collaboration with the Xairu Heritage Portal.

The Spring School aims to offer academic assistance to 40 grade 12 during the September October 2021 school holidays to prepare them for the final matric examinations. The following subjects were identified by the learners and will be the focus for the Spring School; Physical Science, Mathematics , Mathematical Literature and Business Studies. The learners are from schools in the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Northern Cape and Gauteng.
